Dean's Dream . . .

field

Over 20 years ago Dean had a dream to establish 600 acres of his own privately owned land to an area where wild pheasants could be reared in nature's natural way. Dean's dream to provide hunting of the quality that he experienced in the "Good Old Days" of his youth. Yearly tree planting started, nesting cover drilled, ample food plots planted, numerous man-made lakes, and good winter habitat created has seen impressive results. In 1994, the Rooster Roost Ranch lodge was built, right in the middle of Dean's Dream. In October 2005, Perry and Raema Neugebauer (Dean's son-in-law and daughter) purchased the business to carry on Dean's Dream. We wish to carry out the plan already set forth throughout the years in bringing South Dakota's "Good Old Days" of pheasant hunting for you to enjoy.
