Pheasant hunting, which starts the third weekend of October and runs until the end of December, is what we know best. The staff at the Rooster Roost Ranch will personally guide you on roughly 110,000 acres of prime pheasant hunting land. This part of South Dakota boasts a wealth of birds and the three birds per day limit will guarantee you a quality experience

Our hunting packages cater to groups of 12-16 hunters. Private or corporate groups are welcome. For private use of the lodge, a minimum of 12 hunters are needed. The hunts are designed for your guest to enjoy different parcels of privately owned land each day of hunting.

We have done everything possible to deliver you and your group the fines pheasant hunting experience in South Dakota. We will hunt food plots of corn, milo or millet, CRP ground, wetlands, trees and draws. These conditions utilize walkers, flankers, and blockers.
